The Silicon Valley Chapter presents:
Find out what some of the leaders in the construction industry are doing to stay ahead these days. Our esteemed panelists will be discussing some of the technological advancements their companies have made in the last few years as well as answering questions from the audience.
Jean Goyat, BIM Manager at DPR Construction.
Jean is part of DPR Construction’s Integration Group, driving the company’s adoption and integration of “best practices” into existing processes. Ranging from BIM usage and design management all the way through field operations, his passion for applying existing and custom-built solutions to solve technical challenges brings him to closely interact with project teams in order to help them make better use of present (and future) technology.
Julia Salgueiro, Project Manager at Preston Pipelines
Julia earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics from Lipscomb University and her Masters of Civil Engineering from Norwich University. With ten years of project engineering/management under her belt, Julia now acts as the driver for construction technology implementation at Preston Pipelines. Julia takes an active and practical approach to research, develop, train, and implement technology resources with employees, vendors/subcontractors, and customers alike. Julia ensures technologies are used efficiently, profitably, and securely to attain PPI project goals, effectively manage vendors and subs, and exceed customer expectations.
Sam Lamonica, V.P./CIO at Rosendin Electric
Sam has transformed the way Rosendin Electric works, making staff more efficient and saving the company a lot of money in the process. Sam has been named to Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leaders for his innovation in adapting mobile computing technology to give construction site employees access to enterprise applications and data, and for his work promoting a paperless back office environment and streamlining procurement.
